quotes Is there anywhere with an elevation profile or even just a distance ridden/ total height climbed etc?

quotes Depending on the terrain you want 140-170mm travel. Aim for the 30lb mark. You want to be able to smash the descents like a DH bike but still quickly ride back up the hill. I'd class my bike as an enduro bike at the moment. Think its just over 32lbs. 165mm Last Herb FR frame, 160mm BOS deville's, stans flows, hope m4 brakes. 2x9 gearing (want to build my legs up to go 1x9 or 1x10) http://www.pinkbike.com/news/Mark-Weir-Bike-Check-2012.html http://www.pinkbike.com/news/Enduro-bike-checks-may-2012.html

quotes Sorry but the Fox DOSS post is pretty old news, they've just been taking a long old while to get it to market. September 2010 : http://www.pinkbike.com/news/fox-telescoping-post-titanium-crown-steerer.html

quotes Obviously not, but 4x bikes have won in the past. Just because its a road surface doesn't mean a road bike is the best option.

quotes I upvoted your first comment as it was good to mention the "none of the above" option. I downvoted your sub comment because you sound like a knob / idiot / sissy little girl.

That's a really good point and I appreciate it. The difference is that Dirt has been covering races in their magazines for years, this is our first big push to try to put up WC DH info as in the past we'd just wait for who ever sent in the first press release from the weekend. We're working with the MTB Cut guys this year to have video and have a few crews that we're trying to get info from but it's actually way tougher than we thought to find someone to cover the races. It's expensive, so we can't be at the races and most others just say they are too busy to make reports happen. As for a section that is blog like, it's in the works, but still not a priority at this point for our site. We're a small crew and have a ton of things to maintain, so we pick and choose our priorities and right now we're trying to just get the single update per day sorted.

Your time argument for the WC races is like asking why Dirt was not covering the US Open. Fort Bill is in your back yard, we're in Canada. See the big picture here?
